How much do boiler engineers charge per hour?

Our Heating Engineers are charged at £90/hr + £50 call-out fee, plus a £50 call-out fee. Prices are exclusive of VAT.

How long do boiler repairs take?

No two jobs are the same, so the time it takes will vary depending on the work needed. Boiler repairs can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. Once our Fixer has arrived at your home and assessed the task, they can offer an estimate of how long the work will take.

Do you guarantee your boiler engineers’ work?

All work from the JustFix team of engineers and Fixers is guaranteed for 12 months from the day of completion.

Do engineers bring their own tools?

Our boiler engineers will arrive at the job prepared with their own toolbox. To give our team the best chance of bringing everything they need, be sure to fill out the notes in your booking. If you’re keen to help out, get the kettle on!

Can I fix my boiler myself?
Unless you’re a qualified engineer with the right equipment and experience, trying to fix your own boiler can be incredibly dangerous. Whether your home has an electric boiler, a gas boiler or a hybrid heating system, you shouldn’t try and repair it yourself if it starts playing up. Only Gas Safe registered engineers have the necessary skills and expertise to perform boiler repairs safely and efficiently.
How long do boilers last?
Unfortunately, the phrase “treat them mean, keep them keen” doesn’t apply to boilers (or to any household appliances, for that matter). Modern A-rated boilers typically have lifespans of between 10 and 15 years, provided they are maintained properly. If you don’t get your boiler serviced annually or don’t have the right size of boiler for your property, you might find you need to replace it far sooner.
