Just Fix Ltd (doing business as JustFix) (‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’) respects and values the privacy of all users. We’ll only collect and use data in ways described in this policy, and in a way that is consistent with our obligations and your legal rights. 1. What information we collect, use, and why

Children's Data
Our services are not intended for use by children under 18. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware of such data being processed, we will delete it promptly unless we're legally required to retain it.

3. How we store and process your data
We’ll only use your data within the UK. This means your data is fully protected under data protection legislation. We’ll not share any of your data with any third parties for any purposes, subject to the following exceptions:
- Within our CRM system (customer management software).
- Within our payment system (Stripe).
- With Fixers and service providers (to deliver our services).
- If we’re legally required to share certain data in legal proceedings or to comply with legal obligations, such as regulatory requirements, a court order, or lawful requests from authorities.
- If we sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or assets, your data may be transferred to a third party. Any new owner of our business may continue to use your data in the same way(s) that we have used it, as specified in this Privacy Policy.
We may use automated processes to provide certain services, such as matching Fixers to jobs based on your booking history and preferences. These decisions are based solely on the data you provide and ensure efficient service delivery. If you have concerns about automated decision-making and would like to request manual review, you can contact us using the details in Section 8 of this policy.
Acquisition of boilerPRO Ltd trade & assets
From March 2023, Just Fix Ltd acquired boilerPRO Ltd trade & assets to enhance the delivery of heating and boiler services. As part of this acquisition, Just Fix Ltd received and processed personal data originating from boilerPRO Ltd’s customer database, such as names, contact details, and service history, to consolidate customer accounts, to book or reschedule appointments, provide customer support, and offer relevant services. This data processing is carried out on the lawful bases of contractual necessity and legitimate interests, in line with the UK GDPR. Just Fix Ltd will retain and use this data only as long as required to fulfil these purposes and comply with our legal obligations.
Collaboration with KT Plumbing Ltd
From January 2025, JustFix has entered into a collaborative arrangement with KT Plumbing Ltd to assist in administrative and customer service tasks related to plumbing services. During this period, Just Fix Ltd may receive or process personal data originating from KT Plumbing Ltd’s customer database, such as names, contact details, and service history, for the limited purposes of booking or rescheduling appointments, following up on outstanding payments, and providing necessary services. This data processing is carried out on the lawful bases of contractual necessity and legitimate interests, in line with the UK GDPR. Just Fix Ltd will only retain and use this data as long as required to fulfil these tasks and comply with our legal obligations. If the collaboration leads to a permanent acquisition or merger, any significant changes to this data handling will be communicated and reflected in our updated Privacy Policy.
4. How long we keep your information
We’ll not keep your information for any longer than is necessary based on the reasons for which it was first collected. We retain data for specific periods based on its purpose, your information will therefore be kept for the following periods:

- Your right to restrict. You can ask us to limit how we can use your personal information.

- Your right to withdraw consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
- Your right to data portability. You can ask that we transfer your data to another organisation.

6. How to access your data
If you want to know what data we hold about you, you can ask us for details of that data. This is known as a subject access request (SAR) or a personal data rights request. Please contact us using the details in Section 8 of this policy.
There is not normally any charge for a subject access request. If your request is ‘manifestly unfounded or excessive’ (for example, if you make repetitive requests) a fee may be charged to cover our administrative costs in responding.
We’ll respond to your subject access request within 1 month. Normally, we aim to provide a complete response, including a copy of your data within that time. In some cases, however, particularly if your request is more complex, more time may be required up to a maximum of three months from the date we receive your request.
7. Changes to this policy
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. This may be necessary, for example, if the law changes, or if we change our business in a way that affects data protection.
If significant changes are made to this policy, we’ll notify you via email or prominent notifications on our website or app before the changes take effect.
Any other changes may be immediately posted on our website and you’ll be deemed to have accepted the terms of the Privacy Policy on your first use of our website following the alterations. We recommend checking this page regularly to keep up-to-date.

Complaints Handling
If you have any cause for complaint about our use of your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would welcome the opportunity to resolve your concerns ourselves, however, so please contact us first, using the contact details above.
We aim to resolve all data protection concerns promptly. If you’re dissatisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at www.ico.org.uk.
